Overview

The Maharashtra government reimburses vocational training course fees for eligible students studying at government or government-aided vocational training institutions in the state. Several category-specific versions of this scheme exist (for example, for SEBC/Open category students and separately for OBC/VJNT/SBC category students) — check MahaDBT for the exact version applicable to your category.

Eligibility

Applicant is a domicile of Maharashtra, is studying at a government or government-aided vocational training institution recognised by the state, and meets the category and income conditions of the specific scheme variant applicable to them. Family income up to ₹8 lakh may qualify for full course-fee reimbursement under most variants; lower-income applicants may be covered under Government of India scholarship guidelines instead.

Benefits

Eligible applicants may receive reimbursement of their vocational training course fee, up to 100% depending on family income and category.
